11 Bit Studios’s action-adventure survival game, The Alters, is one of the most anticipated games of this year.

The single-player sci-fi game allows players to assume the role of Jan Dolski, a man on a mission to a planet rich in a valuable element.

Tragically, Jan’s entire team is wiped out during the approach to the planet, leaving him to complete the mission alone in this perilous environment.

The planet is plagued by radiation storms, so Jan must gather essential resources during the day and return to a wheel-shaped mobile base to upgrade his gear while hunkering down through the night.

However, one of the planet’s suns scorches everything in its path when it rises, forcing Jan to get the base up and running before the sun hits and sets both him and the base ablaze.

11 Bit Studios has set June 13 as the release date for The Alters.

According to reports, the action-adventure survival game will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on the same date.

MindsEye developer opens up after disastrous launch

Build A Rocket Boy, the developer of MindsEye, has opened up after the game received mostly negative reviews on its launch. The game, considered a rival to GTA 6, failed to meet the expectations as players complained about bugs and several other technical issues. MindsEye is a GTA-styled third-person shooter developed by Build A Rocket Boy. Fans were expecting the game to rival GTA 6, given that Leslie Benzies, former Rockstar North president, serves as the director of the studio. GTA 6 parent company shares update on release date

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 publisher Rockstar Games, has shared a major update on the game’s release date. Fans were expecting the company to release some sort of media such as a second trailer or screenshots from the game, however, Take-Two Interactive only provided an update on the GTA 6 release date. In its quarterly earnings call on February 6, Take-Two Interactive confirmed that GTA 6 was on track for a release in 2025. Last year, the company set the Rockstar Games’ title for a release in the fall of 2025. Following the confirmation, Rockstar Games stated that GTA 6 will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
