Starship mega rocket 'lost' during atmospheric re-entry: SpaceX

SpaceX’s Starship mega rocket was “lost” during re-entry through Earth’s atmosphere during its third test flight, the company said in a webcast Thursday.

“We are making the call now that we have lost ship 28,” an announcer said during a live stream watched by more than 3.5 million people.

Final Fantasy 16 developer hints at Nintendo Switch 2 version

Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki Yoshida has hinted at releasing the game on the Nintendo Switch 2 gaming console. While the game was released on the PS5 in 2023 on the PS5, it came to PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in 2024. Earlier this year, the latest entry in the popular franchise dropped on Xbox consoles during the June 8 Xbox Games Showcase. Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki Yoshida has now hinted at developing a Nintendo Switch 2 version. During a recent interview with a foreign media outlet, Yoshida noted that Nintendo remains the last gaming platform that does not have the game. “All that’s left is Nintendo,” he said. The Final Fantasy 16 producer was joined by co-director Kazutoyo Maehiro, who said, “I want to do my best. Bitcoin soars to all-time peak just shy of $112,000

Bitcoin climbed to an all-time high near $112,000 late on Wednesday, bolstered by an increased risk appetite and persistent institutional demand as traditional financial market players embraced the world’s largest cryptocurrency. It touched a record peak of $111,988.90 and was last up 0.4% at $111,259. Since the beginning of the year, bitcoin has advanced more than 18%. “Bitcoin is the only asset I am aware of where it becomes less risky as it grows in size,” wrote Anthony Pompliano, founder and CEO of Professional Capital Management in a letter to investors on Wednesday. “There were few sophisticated capital allocators who could gain exposure when bitcoin was $100-200 billion market cap. Now that the asset is measured in trillions, almost every capital allocator on the planet can put the exposure on.” The Trump administration’s crypto-friendly policies have bolstered digital assets overall, opening pools of capital to the sector.
