WhatsApp adds picture-in-picture for video calls on iOS

The Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp has added the new picture-in-picture for video calls in the latest update on iOS.

This new feature which was first tested last year will allow iOS users to open up other apps during video calls without any disruptions. 

After this update, WhatsApp will now allow iOS users to shrink their video call to a small window so they can switch to whatever app they want.

You can read different documents, surf the web, or perhaps even play a game while staying on the video call.

This new feature of WhatsApp will roll out over the coming weeks and the same goes for the other features as well in the updated version.

PakSat MM1: Pakistan’s satellite reaches earth orbit

Pakistan’s second communication satellite, PakSat MM1, launched on May 30 by Pakistan’s National Space Agency (SUPARCO), has reached its earth orbit on June 05. According to the Spokesperson of Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Commission (SUPARCO), PakSat MM1 is located at an altitude of 38,786 km above the earth. The satellite is in earth orbit at 38.2 East. The five-tonne PakSat MM1 is equipped with the latest communication equipment which would help provide the fastest internet facility in the country. After reaching the orbit, the solar panels of the satellite have started functioning. Various tests will be performed on the satellite to check the condition of the satellite in orbit, the SUPARCO spokesperson said. The development came during the company’s State of Play to dive deep into the details of the upcoming game.
